Clinician well-being strategy.

Regardless of the role played, clinicians in medicine continue to face the challenge of delivering high-quality care that is increasingly patient-centered while also keeping pace with rapidly changing technology and regulatory requirements. New reimbursement models, increasing patient demands, and advancing health care delivery models (eg, minute clinics) are creating increased pressure on clinicians (medical students, trainees, and faculty) and their well-being. This article seeks to understand how these factors impact clinician well-being, the consequences to individuals personally and professionally and what organizations should consider when addressing this national crisis within their own organization.
